Why I offer short sessions

Mini sessions are a challenge for me. There is a lot that goes into getting the best shots and sometimes, minis just don't allow enough time to get everyone warmed up to what we are doing and relaxed. However, I do love how I can plan these throughout the year to give you more variety in capturing your family, just the kids, or even just you and your significant other. Another fun part is the theme. Wither it is a seasonal theme like Fall Minis or my annual Couple Minis around Valentine's Day, or just a new venue or studio space that is offering a fun backdrop, I love coming up with fun things that are different than a regular session. The other great thing is getting more of you all on to my calendar when I am already busy. Cost as well as just quick and painless experience is what some of mini clients love too. At the end of the day I love being able to offer a variety of opportunities to help with my end goal which is, capturing moments and telling your story.

February 4 - Castle Rock

Urban Mini Sessions. Great to celebrate the love with your Valentine, follow up with a nice dinner and capture your love. Not your vibe? Bring your family or just your littles and grab some ice cream while I document you in this fun urban setting. 4-5pm.

March 2 - Backdrop Minis

These will be held during the day at my Home Studio in Colorado Springs. Great for classic black and white shots as well as solid backdrop portraits. Timeless. Will have a small Spring/Easter set that day as well. Great for the kids but can also be perfect for adult headshots.

April 7 - Somewhere Studio, Colorado Springs

New studio in downtown Springs! Come check it out with me for the first time! Such a fun, simple, blank space that we get to be creative in.

May 3 - Gap + Gown Minis, Colorado Springs

Grads of all kinds are welcome to join me for mini session this day in Colorado Springs. Seniors are welcome to bring their friends. Your kindergarten kiddo can come out for some fun too. It's time to celebrate and look forward to the future.

May 10 - Springs Minis, Colorado Springs

May 11 - Spring Minis, Denver

Definitely will be on the hunt for some blossoms! Can't guarantee exactly where I will be able to find them but I will do my best.

June 28 - Summer Minis, Denver

Location TBD, but definitely somewhere north of me. I absolutely love these sessions. Take advantage of the later sunsets and the warm weather.

July 12 - Loveland Pass Mini

Bucket list for me means I will make myself available for multiple families up on the pass! Epic views with no additional travel fee!

July 21 - Summer Minis, Colorado Springs

July 26 - Back 2 School Minis, Colorado Springs

Not sure my plan for this one yet, potentially inside at the home studio, but might switch it up and do a school playground. We have some time to decide. :)

October 5 - Fall Minis, South Denver

Usually hold these in Parker or Littleton. I hunt for the best color I can find.

October 12 - Fall Minis, Colorado Springs

Location will be determined once I have a chance to get out and look for the best colors.

Additional Fall Minis and Christmas Minis

Fall is always a challenge for me due to my girls being in soccer. We usually get their schedule about a day before labor day weekend. I will do my best to add additional dates and locations if the two I have are already sold out. Those people on South Denver and Springs dates will get first dibs to switch to another day and location and then I will open for the rest. EMAIL LIST WILL GET THIS INFO FIRST, make sure you are signed up. The first of the Christmas minis will hopefully be up for sale for Christmas in July so watch for an email about that too.

HALF SESSION

miss the mini dates? A half might work

Wanted a fall mini session but the dates don't work or I am already booked? Want to capture your kiddos crew before Prom but they are only giving you a 30 min window before Dinner? Starting in 2024 I will be testing out Half Sessions throughout the year. Offered only Indoor or non-golden hour outdoor, in Colorado Springs, 30 min time block. Monday - Thursday ONLY. $350

Can I book minis anytime I want on your Calendar?

No, Mini sessions are reserved for specific days and times. If you know you want a mini session sometime in the summer, please stay alert or message me about what we have coming up. The other option would be to look at a Half Session, mentioned above.

What's the differance between a full and a mini session?

As stated above, on of the biggest differences in time. Minis are back to back with other clients, so we are up against a clock more than a full session. Privacy can be a little harder with minis too, just since the next clients are present and waiting for their turn. However, one thing that is constant with minis or full sessions is you get a full gallery either way. We all know I can't pick my favorites so how can I make you pick yours?

What is the best way to learn about upcoming mini session days?

100% social media stories. It's usually my first go to to share what I might be brainstorming or gauging interest as well as last minute openings. Not of social media, totally fine. I will send out newsletters once a quarter to inform you on what is coming up for the season so make sure you get on the email list below!
